![]() Yeah, I have a pretty large lake on the surface now, just took water from a huge cavern layer lake and used pipes to move a tiny bit of it to the surface, but I still don't think it's enough! I'm probably going to take 3 stacks of bombs and just make the lake much, much, MUCH bigger. Fishing Poles can be crafted at crafting stations, bought from or bequeathed by NPCs, dropped by mobs, or found throughout the world. Now have 1 water bucket in your inventory and no empty buckets then hold click on the top right air block or top left. if you want to quickly fill a lake dig a hole and then above it build this. It can be re-enabled by right clicking it again. It will transform into an UNcumbering stone, with no effect. Notes The Encumbering Stone effect can be disabled by right-clicking it. Hearts and Stars will also be picked up even with the Encumbering Stone in the inventory. She can be found in the Dungeon in the Cavern layer or below after killing Skeletron, where she spawns randomly as the stationary Bound Mechanic. make sure the lake is at least 300 blocks so 15x20 or larger is a good size. Items reeled in from fishing are still placed in the players inventory. The Mechanic is an NPC who sells various mechanisms, as well as Wire Cutters and Wrenches, allowing the player to construct and activate wired devices like traps and critter engines. make sure there isn't crimson/corruption nearby as they cancle the effect of hallowed. You won’t have to worry about junk in the ocean, but the junk becomes annoying when fishing in other biomes. The same goes for fishing in honey, except you only need a honey pool 200 blocks large. I want to suggest a real use for Fishing Junk, even if it is meant to be useless. If the lake you’re fishing in is over 300 blocks in size, you’ll no longer catch any junk. But that is slightly beside the point of this thread. At the time, the only things I am catching are Bass, and three kinds of junk. ![]() so use a depth meter to make sure you aren't in cavern layer.
